Black Bean Corn Cilantro Salsa

Modified from a recipe I found online somewhere and can't remember…

tomatoes (10 roma is what the recipe said - I use whatever I have on hand in the amount that I desire)
2/3 c. onion
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp cumin
1 cup cilantro
juice from 1 lime
1/2 tsp salt
1 jalapeño pepper seeded and diced
bell pepper (optional)
red pepper flakes (if needed for extra spice)

Blend all of the above. Then add:

fresh corn
can of black beans (drained & rinsed)
